June & Khloe 6 months

June has been super busy so far. Maddie graduated from preschool and had a dance recital all on mommy's 31st birthday. whew! Mommy ran another 5K in Lake Elmo and is doing another one in July. Daddy is playing softball twice a week. Hailey is into making lots and lots of messes. She is also getting potty trained. She is doing a great job and loves to go potty on the toilet. Mommy is now home for the summer and we have been keeping very busy going to the puppetwagon, MOA, on picnics, swimming, play dates, strawberry picking, and many other fun activities to come.

Khloe is now 6 months. She is growing well at almost 15lbs. She is healthy and well. She is rolling all around and is pretty mobile with her rolling. We really have to watch her because she can roll pretty quickly to get places. She is learning to eat rice cereal and fruits and veggies. She loves her sisters and belly laughs when they come near. Hailey loves to make her laugh and will purposefully hit her head on things to make Khloe laugh out loud. Maddie and Hailey are really enjoying each other now too. They play together, dance together, and hug and kiss each other.

We have a busy and sometimes very loud and chaotic household but it is never boring and is full of energy. We are having a good summer so far and hope you are too.

May 2011

In May, we also had some fun times with our cousin Owen and Auntie Kelly and Uncle Caleb. Maddie had crazy hair day for dance class. We had our photo taken at church. Hailey is growing up and is into everything. She has so much fun! Mommy ran her first race the Autism 5K too. We literally have been running around here.:)

Khloe 5 months

I sort of skipped the month of May so I will quickly update. Khloe was 5 months old on May 10th. She spent most of the month home with daddy. She learned to roll over both ways and is sitting supported. She is still a good eater and sleeper. Khloe Gen was dedicated to the lord this month on mother's day. She had a great time and a great party with family and friends. Mommy had a great mother's day and felt so blessed by my 3 little girls and their wonderful daddy.

Khloe 4 months old

Little Khloe is growing fast! She is 13lbs (43%ile) and 10th%ile for height. She is healthy, happy, and full of smiles! She continues to be an easy baby, very content and calm. I went back to work over a month ago now and everyone has adjusted well. The big girls love the social interaction at daycare and preschool for Maddie. Khloe loves being home with her daddy. She took to the bottle immediately and she has a nice routine with him. She started rolling over now that she can be on the ground. It was hard for mommy to have her on the ground with Hailey Mae around. Hailey likes to poke Khloe in the eyes and lay on top of her.:) She is not trying to hurt her but just loves her too much and is trying to teach her about her anatomy(eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) :) Both girls love love love on their little sister. They both want to hold her and kiss and hug her as much as we will allow. Maddie is gearing up for her dance recital in June and her preschool graduation. She has had a great year in school and I know will miss it this summer. Maddie continues to be independent, strong, and momma's best helper. Hailey is talking so much now and makes us laugh at all the things she can say. She is still our sensitive child and loves to cuddle. Khloe is being dedicated on mothers day weekend at church. so, we are getting ready for that. Josh just started softball season. He plays on two teams, two nights a week April-August. I have been training for the Autism 5K in May. I just did the annual MS walk today in support of my good friend. So, we are pretty busy this spring and looking forward to summer when mommy is home again.

Khloe Gen 3 months old

Khloe is now 3 months old and growing bigger and stronger each day. She is much bigger than her sisters. She continues to be a sweet and contented baby. She is a great sleeper and is very calm. She is also very smiley and loves people especially her big sisters. They make her laugh and coo. I am going back to work next week and Josh will be taking care of Khloe while he works. The older girls will be going to a new daycare. This situation will be completely new for Hailey since she has never gone to an in home daycare before. I think she will enjoy the social interaction and activity. Maddie will continue to go to preschool two days a week and then to daycare with Hailey 3 days a week. Maddie is very excited to start daycare. She still is loving preschool too. We have been staying busy and enjoying my last weeks off by going to MOA, Look out ridge, shopping all over with cousins and having Lots of playdates and visitors. Well, that is about it. I will try to update again soon.

Khloe Gen 2 months old

Khloe is now 2 months old. Time is sure going by quickly. She is growing and changing fast. Khloe is happy and healthy. She smiles and laughs at us. She coos and responds to our talking with vocalizations. Khloe is my biggest baby so far and in the 60th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height. She currently weighs 11lbs. 3oz. I am so happy for her healthy weight so I don't have to worry about her gaining enough like the other two. Her sisters love her and are enjoying holding her and making her smile. Hailey clicks her tongue at her and smiles in her face. We have been keeping busy while I am on leave. We have gone on a few outings to the MOA, midtown global market, weekly visits to library, birthday parties, and shopping. We have also had lots of visitors each week which the kids love. Madison is still enjoying preschool. She just had a Valentine's party and mommy got to come and help teach the art project while Grandma watched the little girls. Maddie is such a good listener and is learning so much at school. Hailey has been enjoying all the visitors and spending time with mommy. She loves reading books, playing mommy to her babies, and cleaning. Both girls ask to clean for fun. I guess they see me cleaning a little too much.:) We are doing well and hope you are too.

Happy New Year from the Olson's

In 2010 we have had many exciting events take place in the Olson household.

In April we found out we were pregnant with our 3rd baby girl. We were very excited to add another little bundle of joy to our family. She came a few days late but made her way into the world on Dec. 10th at 12:18 pm. She is a beautiful little girl and so easy going so far. She is a wonderful addition to our family. We all love her very much

Hailey was dedicated to the Lord in March at our church and we celebrated with a dinner at our home. Hailey celebrated her 1st birthday in July with swimming, cake, and friends on a very hot 90 degree day. Hailey is now 18 months old and is into everything. She loves to make messes but fortunately likes to pick up as well. She loves to sweep and wipe up messes. Her favorite activity right now is cleaning toilets with the toilet brush. She also loves baby dolls and puts them to bed and gives them ba ba's . She and Maddie play together now and she loves to play chase with her. Hailey is a smiley and happy child. She loves new people and will often hold her arms up to strangers especially men to pick her up. She is very trusting and sweet.

Madison started dance and had her first recital. She loves dance class and continues to take classes this year as well. Maddie also took swimming, soccer, and T-Ball lessons this summer. Maddie also started preschool this year. She goes to a wonderful preschool at a Lutheran church thru the LADC. She is learning so much about life, academics, social skills, and God. She is the teachers helper and loves it. Madison celebrated her 4th birthday in Sept. with a Dora themed party including a Dora moonwalk. She had a blast. Maddie continues to be a very independent and vibrant child. She has a big personality at 4. It is so fun to watch her grow up. She is mommy's helper with her sisters. She loves to take on new responsibilities. She is very passionate and says the funniest and most observant statments. She is very much a girly girl and loves to dress up, dance, play Barbies, have tea parties, and color pictures for us.

We took a few vacations in 2010 with the girls and my parents. We went to Florida to Orlando and New Smyrna Beach in March. The girls loved Disney World and the ocean. In August we traveled to Montreal and stayed with my parents in their condo at Tremblant. From there we road tripped to Quebec City. It was like visiting Europe but without the time zone difference. Maddie even started to speak French to the locals. We also made several trips up north to The Olson's farm throughout the year. The girls love visiting the farm. Maddie helps pick eggs and loves to play on the farm.

Josh and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this August. It is hard to believe we have been married that long. It seems just like yesterday that we were on that boat.

I (Charity) also started my 7th year of teaching this Fall. I continue to work at the same school in Oakdale in the same position as an Autism teacher. I love my students they make me laugh daily. I love my coworkers also. I am currently on child care leave from work until the end of March.

Josh has been keeping busy with his business, Olson Medical Billing. He is a very hard worker. He still enjoys playing softball, basketball, and football throughout the year. He also loves watching sports when he has time.
