We hope you all are enjoying this holdiay season! We are finding it so much fun to celebrate the holidays with our girls and to see the enjoyment and amazement on their faces. Hailey is very enthralled with christmas lights and every time she sees any lights she says "It's my christmas!" Maddie and Hailey are both into Elf on the Shelf and Santa. They are trying to be nice little girls so they don't get on the naughty list.:) We have had a busy holiday season so far we have visited Santa and the elf show at Macy's with my family. We have had two Thanksgiving meals with lots of family time and a turkey trot at the farm. Which Josh won. We have been decorating our house, making cookies, making gingerbread houses, making crafts, and attending parties. I will give a little update on each of us and if you want more details you can look back at past blog updates. Maddie is now 5. She is still spirited and full of life. She loves preschool and daycare. She is very friendly and makes friends wherever we go. She started her third year in dance class and is doing well with that. She loves sunday school and friends from small group and moms group. She is also really into arts and crafts and spends a lot of her time drawing and writing pictures. Hailey is 2 and is so sweet but a little naughty too! She has such a sweet little smile and she is so tiny that she looks very innocent but when your not looking she can be sneaky and push her sisters, or get into mommy's makeup or nail polish, or sneak her sisters markers and color on the walls or herself. She loves daycare and talks about her friends every day. Her prayer request every night is to pray that she shares with Kai from daycare. She loves her sisters and is our little nurse. She is very empathetic and wants to make you better if you are hurt. In her tiny voice she will say "you okay?" and gives "huggies and kissy" . Khloe just turned one on Dec. 10th. She is such a calm and content little one. She plays so well with her sisters and alone. She is starting to talk and walk now. She says mama, dada, thankyou, baba, and hi. She is always trying to say new things. She is taking about 5 steps at a time right now and furniture walking so it's only a matter of time before she is running around with the big girls. She loves watching them and her and Hailey like to get into trouble together.
Josh and I are so thankful for our 3 little girls! We feel so incredibly blessed to have such sweet and healthy little ones. They are busy and so are we but we are lucky and enjoy it most of the time. I (Charity) am in my eighth year of teaching students with ASD in Oakdale. In my spare time, I like to run and have run several 5ks this year. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with the girls. Josh still owns his own medical billing business, Olson Medical Billing. He is busy as ever and has lots of work to do. In his free time which is small he enjoys playing year round sports (softball, football, and basketball) thru church leagues. That about wraps up our update. We hope you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS with your families! We hope to hear from you soon!
